Telecentre / Community Resource Centres play an important role in community development in rural and regional towns.  The Wheatbelt Region has forty two Telecentre / Community Resource Centres and C Y O'Connor College of TAFE has recognised the role that Telecentre / Community Resource Centres play in the delivery of education and training programs to regional communities.

 

The College has developed an Incentive Scheme to assist Telecentre / Community Resource Centres to promote and deliver education and training in the Region. In return the College benefits from the Telecentre / Community Resource Centres' strong links with their community and provides an opportunity to better meet the training and employment needs of both the community and local industry groups.
